This is what it is like living with a kid who does not care for sports: Me: What activity do you want to try this year? Do you want to try a sport? Kid: Is ballet a sport? Me: Sort of? I mean, it’s athletic, but it’s not exactly what I had in mind. What about a team sport? Kid: I really prefer something that doesn’t include balls. Me: What about soccer? You could play soccer! Kid: Maybe we should just stick to Girl Scouts.
